About Joanna
Joanna first gained an interest in the health industry
over 2 decades ago whilst working with children with spinal deformities
and providing corrective exercise programs.
Her overseas clinical practice as a Physiotherapist and
as a specialist assistant at the Physiology
Faculty Academy of Medicine provided her with valuable knowledge and experience.
Her Masters degree thesis was published in the medical journal "Acta
Physiologica Polonica.”
Joanna has extensive, international experience in Holistic Health
and Beauty, including clinical practice in European hospitals, elite
continental retreats for the pampered and now a
private practice at Lutwyche, Brisbane.
After graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture
from the Australian Institute of Applied Science, Joanna completed
her training in Japanese Acupuncture
at Manaka Protocol.
She graduated with distinction as Bachelor of Health Science Acupuncture
from the Australian College of Natural Medicine and was awarded the graduate
prize and certificate of excellence for outstanding performance in Acupuncture
at the ACNM.
She completed the approved training in the Toyohari system of Japanese
Acupuncture and gained the title of Registered Toyohari Practitioner.
She has frequently visited Japan
to study under the Masters in the field of the Toyohari system
of Acupuncture in Tokyo to enhance her techniques
and skills.
Joanna is an accredited practitioner of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Joanna is a member of the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese
Medicine Association (AACMA), the Queensland Branch of Toyohari
Association (QBTA)
and the Association of Professional Aestheticians of Australia
(APAA).
It is rare to find a clinic where one practitioner
offers so many integrated treatments, which makes Joanna
unique among her peers in
the natural health & beauty industries.
